I was born in Charlotte and moved back after graduating with a double major in Finance and Accounting from North Carolina State University. In 1998 I was drawn to Charlotte to begin work in investment banking with Bank of America. I spent 8 years working in the commercial mortgage-backed (MBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS) area of the bank. In 2006 I made the transition to residential real estate brokerage and have been helping buyers and sellers of some of Charlotte’s finest homes.
I am grateful for the opportunity to assist home buyers and sellers with making one of their largest purchases. For this reason, I make sure I give back to my profession and community.
I have been selected and voted by my peers to serve on the Charlotte Realtor Association Board of Directors and the NC Realtors Association Board of Directors. I have served on numerous committees including the chair of the Young Professional Networking committee, the Realtor Grievance committee, and serve on the Government Affairs committee. I have been a yearly major investor of our Realtor PAC that advocates for home owners rights, which is an important way to help further serve my clients. I also travel to Raleigh every year to meet with our state legislators to discuss issues that relate to property owners’ advocacy.
I have served as a volunteer delivering meals monthly for Friendship Trays since 2008, as a coach for Let Me Run, an F3 advocate and volunteer, volunteer at Trinity Episcopal School, and attend Myers Park Methodist Church.
Charlotte’s vibrant community and economic atmosphere create a wonderful place to grow and establish roots. Its convenient proximity to wonderful lakes, beaches, and beautiful mountains provide a wide range of options for recreational activities. Professional sports teams, rich cultural amenities, and community leadership also continues to land Charlotte as a destination for businesses and people of all ages. I’m proud to call Charlotte home.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
- I consider myself fortunate to help buyers and sellers navigate all of the various aspects of a real estate transaction.
