Jennie brings a wealth of professional experience and her personal passion for residential real estate, design, and construction to her client work. Just like her colleagues of the Lucy Butler Group, Jennie's single goal is to delight her clients so much so that they want to share their experience with others.
A native of the greater Washington, D.C. area, Jennie and her family relocated to Charlotte to be closer to her husband's financial services clients, as well as to be closer to their extended family sprinkled throughout the Carolinas. Jennie loves working with clients to help them understand the nuances of various Charlotte neighborhoods so that they can make informed choices based on their real estate and lifestyle goals.
Jennie is a graduate of the University of Virginia and spent the first 25 years of her career in marketing, communications, and nonprofit fundraising. A proud adoptive mother, she enjoys supporting numerous Charlotte child welfare-related causes. Jennie lives in the SouthPark area with her family and in her limited free time, she enjoys being outside – whether in her own backyard, boating on Lake Norman, or away at the coast or the mountains.

PERSONAL INFO
- I'm a rare native Washingtonian. I was born in Washington, D.C. and raised nearby in Alexandria, VA.
- I graduated from the University of Virginia - GO HOOS!
- I'm married with a stepson and a daughter.
- I am a member of the Woman's Impact Fund and my husband and I are fund holders with the Foundation for the Carolinas. Supporting our community nonprofits is very important to me and my family.
Fun Facts
- My father was a general contractor and my parents flipped our houses during my childhood. Hence, I love a good interior before and after. We're starting a total home renovation project this year, which should be interesting to say the least!
- Our family loves to travel in the Carolinas and elsewhere. We spend a lot of time in Wrightsville Beach and Charleston but we also love the North Carolina High Country, too.
- I caught the pickleball bug awhile back and love any chance I can get for some dinks and drinks.
- I passed up a handful of unremarkable job offers at the end of college and instead, boarded a plane to the UK following graduation with just a 6-month work permit and some other essentials. The best decision I ever made was to work and travel abroad right after school.
